CMIV announces a new spinoff company in medical imaging

ADVANCED MR ANALYTICS (AMRA AB) is the most recent of CMIV’s spin-off companies in the area of frontline medical diagnostics. The company was created by researchers in the Radiation Physics and Medical Informatics groups at Linköping University, combining expertise in both magnetic resonance physics and image processing. The new company will provide solutions primarily in the field of advanced whole body magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). The owners of the new company, Olof Dahlqvist Leinhard, Magnus Borga, Andreas Johansson, and Peter Lundberg are devoted to offering significantly more accurate and quantitative measurements for bringing the diagnostic power of MRI-examinations to new heights. The future applications are ranging from diagnostics, to following up therapy, and also rapid screening methods for populations at risk.
