Neuroimaging of sleep and sleep disorders.
CMIV conduct unique research on functional neuroimaging of the sleep disorder Kleine-Levin syndrome. Maria Engström presents this research and other neuroimaging studies of the Kleine-Levin syndrome in a chapter in the new book “Neuroimaging of sleep and sleep disorders” edited by Nofzinger, Maquet and Thorpy, Cambridge university press.

CMIV professor Tino Ebbers honoured with a Starting Grants from European Research Council
CMIV researcher Tino Ebbers, professor at the Faculty of Health Sciences has received a honorable Starting Grant from the European Research Council, ERC. The support goes to Europe's best young scientists. Better and simpler cardiac diagnostics is the research projects that has received 1.5 million over five years from the European Research Council. For the fifth year ERC awards called Starting Grants, a grant that will help Europe's best researchers, early career to build up their own research groups.

Dr. Petter Dyverfeldt of the Cardiovascular MR Group has been named a Distinguished Reviewer by the Magnetic Resonance in Medicine (MRM) journal for 2012. MRM is published by the International Society for Magnetic Resonance in Medicine (ISMRM), a nonprofit association that promotes MR techniques in medicine and biology.
